GDPA Members Elect 2009-2010 Board of Directors

GDPA held its annual membership meeting in May and elected the following GDPA members to its 2009-2010 Board of Directors.

President - Rima Davidson, 2nd Vice President - Krista Smith, Secretary - Jennifer Blessing, Treasurer-Stephanie Tracy, Trustee - Donna Middlebrook, Trustee-Nicole Wilson.

Returning to the Board, is Trustee Barbara Furman-Ashby continuing her two year service for the 2008-2010 term.

Open Positions: 1st Vice President, Trustee for 2008-2010 Term. Please contact any board member if you are interested in a position.

Personal Safety Class Offered

As a follow-up to Ty Davidson's Personal Safety Presentation at GDPA's February membership meeting, and due to interest expressed by GDPA Members, Glen Evans with Self Defense Advisor, has graciously agreed hold a class for girls and women, ages 11 and older. Registration fee is $35.00.

The class will be approximately three hours and is a hands-on self-defense program to be held on a Saturday (date and location to be announced). This invitation is not limited to GDPA members. Ask your female family members, friends and neighbors to join you--it's a worthwhile personal investment you don't want to miss!

Contact Rima Davidson if you are interested. A minimum number of participants is required to ensure the low $35.00 registration fee.
